Little Lava Lake

Little Lava Lake is a natural lake located in Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. It is situated in the Cascade Range on the eastern side of the Deschutes National Forest, near the border of the Three Sisters Wilderness. The lake is fed by snow and rain runoff and is surrounded by forests of lodgepole pine, western hemlock, and Douglas fir. Little Lava Lake has a surface area of about 130 acres and a maximum depth of 16 feet. It is a popular destination for fishing, camping, and hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
